Jeweled Gold AR DE Sesto centerpiece

Postby ceramicseeker » April 5th, 2011, 7:09 pm

HI,
This large centerpiece handled compote with jewels, gold and spaghetti majolica has mark on base as you see in photo below.
It has two large vases that match this pattern to go on both sides of it that would most likely be put on a mantel.
I am not sure of the maker or year of this. Any ideas ?
This is a very large piece.

Thank you.

Here is a link to Italian site with Ceramics info in Sesto, actually a tourist site for sesto the town itself.

http://www.sestopromuove.it/english_ceramics.asp

They have a PDF formatted document on that site that has current running ceramics in sesto with webpage links along with ones that are probably no longer in business or do not have a website.

It is the link on that page that says sesto ceramic companies addresses and web references list.

Here is the pdf link http://www.sestopromuove.it/pdf/sesto_f ... t_2008.pdf
