I'm a novice collector but I found this small compote with CV or VC? Is this a mark anyone knows/ There is also 18.B underneath the Italy. I have added some pictures.Image Thanks so much for your help!

It could be the work of Vincenzo Corrente but I really need to see photos of the mark and the piece in order to confirm this.

Is this the mark found on your piece? If so, it belongs to Vincenzo Corrente.
Corrente was born in Grottaglie, near Taranto, in 1887. He worked for Egisto Fantechi in Sesto Fiorentino in the opening years of the 20th century and then in 1913 he attempted to open his first studio but World War I interrupted his plans. He opened another studio in 1925 which remained successful until his death in 1967.
